Chronicle - Bill Organizer App Reviews

App is buggy. Touch ID is hit or miss—sometimes it either doesnt prompt for authentication or the app lets you in even if you have a passcode set. Would be good to get a total of all bills for a given month, and for subsequent months.

Still no wi-fi syncing? I want my private finance data to be private. We need a choice. No choice - no stars.

We absolutely love this app. Its our most practical and useful app that we use all the time. Simplifies our bill tracking and paying. Love the encouragements too. We use Chronicle every day!

Really good app but the Apple WATCH need a little bit of love it just dont open at all. :( Also, French and more category would be a nice addition!

Buona app per ricordare le scadenze ed archiviare i pagamenti effettuati soprattutto in abbinata con la versione per Mac. Five stars when it is optimized for the resolution of the iPhone 6/6 Plus and have the archive accessible from iOS devices.

Please fix - for bills that are less than $1 it wont display the value

Finally got tired of Bill Keeper crashing. So far this has been great.

Once a bill is paid, the color is removed from the calendar. Perhaps, you can leave the dot/indicators but change the color. So at a quick glance, its easy to see a payment was made on that date. Then, your app would get a 5 star rating.

Doesnt sync between Mac OS and iOS. Totally unreliable.

Syncs between my Mac, iPhone 6, and wifes iPhone 5s via Dropbox. Now we can both manage our bill payments, get reminders, and work together no matter where we are. Great app, UI, and iOS 8 integration.

I started using this over a year ago and really like how well it works. The sync feature is real handy and makes the whole process of paying and keeping track of your bills simpler.

But, the calendar cant be hidden now (despite the menu option indicating that it doesnt have to be visible) and the tags are not syncing with desktop. Other than that, this is the best bill tracking app around. Fix these minor annoyances please and youre back to 5 stars!

I like the look and feel of Chronicle but it seems to be missing basic functions. Why cant I swipe between bills on iPhone 6? Instead, I press Bills (back), swipe through my list and select the next bill. I also tried to bring current an auto paid bill and Chronicle was unable to do the math. After a few minutes of trying to edit, I had to delete and make new. I want to like this app more than I do.

UPDATE: the addition of Touch ID is great! ******************************************************* I started using this app over five years ago. I have never missed a payment since. It makes bill management fun. Mike, the developer, is very responsive and helpful. He regularly adds new features, and keeps up with the latest OS. Spending a little now will save you a lot later. The iOS app syncs with the wonderful Mac app, which I open every two weeks when I pay my bills. Get both versions; well worth the modest cost.

I read a few reviews praising this app. I was looking for a budget type app and wanted to give it a try based on the reviews. This app is so poorly designed. Its a little more than a glorified reminder app with cute little icons. Its missing a lot of basic functionality.

I was waiting for Apple Watch support and also the Touch ID support for quite some time. Apple Watch app could be native for faster updating and access which is a slight negative but some progress is better than no progress. My biggest want for the longest time for the iOS version was getting the Touch ID entry support. This was literally the last app I had that didn’t see that update, it took an entire year to get it, but its here and I love it. Syncing is clunky at times, however it’s better than nothing. I’ve switched between Dropbox and iCloud frequently because eventually one stops working and there’s really not a notification this has stopped working unless you see that bills you have paid have gone “unpaid” on another version even after restarting the app or hitting the sync button and nothing happens. Stocking with them though as this app keeps me on top of my bill pay game an works well with my workflow of making sure I don’t fall behind with a payment. Makes that grueling task a little more bearable.

Really like this app! Its helped with bill paying organization, syncs with iOS devices and has a Mac app! The dev is super quick with updates and has an  watch app that works great for payment reminders.. Supports iOS 9 multitasking..... Solid, solid app keep up the great work

I really wished I hadnt paid for this app. Every time you want to put in a bill you have to retype it all in. Unless you say the bill is reoccurring with unknown amount, it doesnt save accounts. Also you cant look back on the calendar to see when you last paid a bill. There is not much to this app. I needed it at the time because I didnt think my previous app, bill tracker, was ever going to update for iOS 9 but it did and is better than ever. This was a waste of money for me.

Since downloading Chronicle, I have stayed current on all my bills. Before, I would constantly forget and never could keep it organized but I havent missed a payment since downloading this. It is so easy to use and the little number on the app reminds me to check it daily or weekly. I have also been able to keep better track of my money overall. Thank you to the makers developers and designers for this great app!!
